A man cave is a place for men to get away from the stresses of everyday life. In a man cave, you can watch your favorite team play, have a beer or two and enjoy the company of friends. A man cave design doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact, it’s all about keeping things simple.
The biggest mistake you can make is feeling carried away with all the bells and whistles that some man caves feature. Your best bet is to keep things simple, so let’s look at what makes up a great man cave design.
The TV:
A big screen TV is essential for any man cave design, but make sure you get one that’s the right size for your space. A big screen TV takes up a lot of space and can really overwhelm your room if it’s too big for the space you have available.

A man cave is a great place to enjoy your favorite video games, so you’re going to need a gaming console. There are many consoles to choose from, but the two most popular are the Xbox and PlayStation.
Both of these consoles have a lot of games available, so you’ll never run out of things to play. Make sure you get one that’s got the right ports for your game controllers and TV connection, a

Audio/Video Equipment:
An audio/video system is another great way to enjoy movies and TV shows in your man cave. If you want a home theater experience, make sure you buy a home theater system with surround sound and comfortable seating.
If you’re not interested in surround sound, then just buy an audio receiver with good speakers that fit in your space comfortably.
Make sure they’re hooked up with HDMI so they’re compatible with your game console as well as any other devices that use HDMI connections like Blu-ray players or streaming media players like Roku.
Beer and Drink Coolers:
A man cave is the perfect place to store your favorite beer and other drinks. If you’re going to be entertaining guests, make sure you have a refrigerator that’s big enough to hold all your drinks.
A mini-fridge can work if you only plan on storing a few drinks in it, but if you’re going to be entertaining guests, you’ll need something bigger.
You can also buy an under-counter cooler or mini-fridge for your man cave that looks like it belongs there. Many models come with wheels so they can be moved around easily, and they look great in any man cave.

A Bar:
If beer is what gets you through the day, then a bar is a must for your man cave. Make sure you get one that’s large enough for all of your favorite beers and other liquors.
Most bars are designed to fit under the countertop of a kitchen or bar, so make sure you measure your countertop before you buy a bar. You can find some that are portable, so you can take them with you when you move.
The Perfect View:
A great man cave needs a great view. Find a nice spot to hang your TV and game console, and choose a spot for your bar that has a nice view of the outside world.
You can get some really cool custom windows for your man cave to give it the perfect view of whatever landscape or scenery you want to look at.
It’s also fun to have large windows that allow you to watch TV while still enjoying the outside world as well. If there’s something specific that makes up your favorite landscape, like water or mountains, then buy a picture or painting of it and hang it on the wall in your man cave so you always have it with you when you’re there.
