Foods You Should Have in Your Kitchen at All Times

You don’t have to stock your kitchen with a bunch of ingredients to make healthy food. These items are staples in my kitchen and they should be in yours too!

Olive Oil – Use it for sautéing, salad dressings, and even as a hair treatment.

Coconut Oil – It’s great for baking, sautéing, and making desserts.

Avocado Oil – This oil is great for frying or making salad dressings.

Sesame Oil – This is one of my favorite oils to use when I want a little flavor boost to stir-fries or other dishes.

Butter – Although not the healthiest oil, butter is great for cooking or adding a little extra flavor to your meals.

Soy Sauce – I use this on just about everything!

Red Wine Vinegar – You can use this vinegar for salad dressings, marinades, and as a condiment.

Chicken Broth – A staple in my kitchen; I use it to make soups and stews.

Spices & Herbs – You don’t need to buy the most expensive spices out there but you do need them!

Garlic Powder Onion Powder Oregano Thyme Paprika Parsley Bay Leaves Curry Powder Cumin Cayenne Pepper Cinnamon Ground Ginger Nutmeg Salt & Pepper Sugar – This is my favorite ingredient to use when baking and use it in place of oil or butter.

Brown Sugar White Sugar Honey (Maple Syrup) Molasses Apple Cider Vinegar Balsamic Vinegar Lemon Juice (Lime Juice) Rice Vinegar (Red Wine Vinegar) Soy Sauce Mustard Tahini Miso Paste Ginger – I use this as a replacement for onions in stir-fries and soups.

Garlic Powder Onion Powder Dried Herbs & Spices – I keep a variety of dried herbs and spices on hand at all times because they last forever!

Here are some of my favorites:

Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil, Butter, Soy Sauce, Red Wine Vinegar, Chicken Broth, Spices & Herbs
